Welcome to SocialCTL. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. What SocialCTL provides

SocialCTL is a SaaS platform that helps you plan, generate, schedule, and publish social media content. Core features include an AI content calendar, AI-generated reels and carousels, a brand kit, multi-platform scheduling, and analytics. Features may change as we improve the product.

2. Accounts

You need an account to use most features. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for any activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country, whichever is higher) to create an account.

3. Subscriptions, credits, and payments

SocialCTL uses a subscription plus credit-based model. Your plan grants a monthly credit allowance for AI generation, and you can buy additional credit packs at any time. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your full card details.

  • Subscriptions renew monthly. Cancel from /dashboard/billing at any time; you keep access until the end of the billing period.
  • Credit packs are one-time purchases. Credits expire if your account is closed or inactive for an extended period.
  • Refunds are not generally provided for partial billing periods or unused credits. We may make exceptions for billing errors or service outages — contact [email protected].
  • Failed AI generation automatically refunds the consumed credits — we never charge for placeholder or failed output.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use SocialCTL to:

  • Generate, schedule, or publish content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, defamatory, or that infringes someone else's rights.
  • Impersonate a person, brand, or organisation in a way that could mislead.
  • Spam, deceive, or run coordinated inauthentic behaviour on any connected social platform.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service — including circumventing rate limits, credit metering, or tenant isolation.
  • Resell SocialCTL as your own product without a written agency or reseller agreement.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the briefs, assets, brand details, and other content you upload to SocialCTL ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content only to operate the service for you.

AI-generated outputs (captions, calendars, reels, carousels) are yours to use commercially, subject to (a) the underlying AI providers' terms (Anthropic, OpenAI, OpenRouter, Google), and (b) the laws of your country. We do not claim ownership over generated outputs.

6. Third-party platforms

SocialCTL connects to third-party platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, X, YouTube). Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for changes to their APIs, content policies, or account-status decisions.

7. AI outputs — limitations

AI-generated content is statistical, not authoritative. Always review outputs before publishing. SocialCTL is not responsible for content that is factually wrong, off-brand, or that violates a third-party platform's policy after you publish it.

8. Service availability

We work to keep SocialCTL available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, third-party API outages, and unforeseen incidents may cause downtime. We will refund credits consumed by failed generations during such incidents.

9. Termination

You can close your account anytime from /dashboard/account. We may suspend or close accounts for breach of these terms, fraud, or extended inactivity (12+ months with no subscription).

10. Disclaimers

SocialCTL is provided "as is" without warranties beyond those required by your local law. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of SocialCTL is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced by email and in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where SocialCTL is incorporated. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
